Former Director of Immigration, William Pratt was replaced by Stephen Laroda at a ceremony held last week at the British Colonial Hotel.

In his presentation at the event Pratt said, “I tell you now I love this department and if I hear anything unbecoming I will be at your door. I love my country and I won’t sell my country for nothing.”

The former director spoke about the challenged faced by the department. “People should not be waiting three months for a renewal permit or to hear a response from us. Sometimes I have nearly one hundred emails a day answering, response, apologizing for the delay. I try all my best because I believe in excellent customer service. So I’m asking you to support and do your best, you know in this organization the work never stops.

The event also
