Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. Philip Davis, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation the Hon. Chester Cooper, Minister for Grand  Bahama, the Hon. Ginger Moxey, and Leader of the Opposition the Hon. Michael Pintard were among hundreds of dignitaries, colleagues, family members and friends attending the funeral service for the late noted attorney Harvey Oscar Tynes, KC, on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Anglican Church of the Ascension.   Other government ministers attending Friday’s farewell service included Minister of Foreign Affairs the Hon. Fred Mitchell, and Minister of Education and Technical & Vocational Training the Hon. Glenys Hanna-Martin.   Mr. Tynes was a highly respected member of the legal community.
