The Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt was in attendance at the Changing of the Guard Ceremony on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Government House. Officers marched from the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Military Aide-to-Civilian Authority Office on Parliament Street onto Shirley Street and then Baillou Hill Road to the upper west gate of Government House, where they entered to conduct the Changing of the Guard ceremonies.
