Member of Parliament for Englerston, the Hon. Glenys Hanna Martin joined police officers and members of the clergy on a walkabout in the Ridgeland Park community on Monday. This came after a mass shooting that killed two men and injured five others occurred over the weekend.

Hanna Martin shared her thoughts on the incident with reporters. She said, “what happened here on Saturday was something that left me speechless, speechless. Most of them are teenagers, they’re children, they’re children. The truth is, you know, I don’t know what the rationale was. I don’t know to what extend there was crossfire, wrong place wrong time. But whatever the rationale is they’re children who were caught in a situation that is nightmarish, traumatic and two people lost their lives.”
