BTC’s Board of Directors has been informed by Mr. Bhatti of his decision to step down as Chief Executive Officer to pursue other professional opportunities. Mr. Bhatti has committed his full support to ensuring a smooth and orderly leadership transition, and we thank him for his commitment, dedication, and significant contributions during his tenure with the Company.

Since Mr. Bhatti informed the Board of his decision, the Board and Company leadership have been conducting a comprehensive executive search for his successor. We will provide further updates regarding the leadership transition and succession plans as the Board-led CEO succession process progresses and once a final appointment has been made.

In the interim, Ms. Inge Smidts, in her role as Board Chair, will lead the operations of the business with a focus on delivering high speed, reliable connectivity and entertainment services, while offering great value and the best possible experience to customers.
