Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre held its 10th Annual Caregivers Symposium, October 17, 2025 at Anglican Church of Epiphany Parish Hall, exploring topics such as Compassion, Fatigue and Burnout; Caring Beyond the Bedside; Telehealth and Caregiving; and Presentations from Residential Homes.  Caregivers, who often need nurturing also, include workers in private homes, spouses/family members supervising the caregivers of their family members, relatives ‘sitting’ or ‘watching’ sick relatives, persons who escort or accompany others to doctor’s appointments, persons who visit others to help once they see the need (especially relatives).
