Bahamian Star Athlete and three-time World Athletics Indoor Champion Hurdler, Devynne Charlton returned home to a hero’s welcome on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Lynden Pindling International Airport. In attendance to welcome her home were Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, the Hon. Mario Bowleg; Mike Sands, NACAC President; and Drumeco Archer, BAAA’s President. Devynne ran and won her third consecutive World Athletics Indoor Championships Title race in the women’s 60-meter hurdles this weekend, winning in a world-record time of 7.65 seconds in the final in Turon, Poland.
