The Cabinet Office announces today that a State Funeral for the Honourable Reverend Vaughn Peterson Miller will be held at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, the Myles E. Munroe Diplomat Centre on
Friday, 24 th October, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Miller was a Cabinet Minister, Member of Parliament, Pastor, former Trade Unionist, Community Activist, and Radio Talk Show Host. Interment will follow
in Lakeview Gardens and Mausoleum on John F. Kennedy Drive.

The body of the deceased will lie-in-state in the House of Assembly, Parliament Square, on Thursday, 23 rd October, 2025, and will depart on Friday via the hearse in a convoy, to the vacant lot opposite
Golden Gates Assembly on Carmichael Road. A military procession will follow from the vacant lot to Bahamas Faith Ministries International, the Myles E. Munroe Diplomat Centre. On completion of
the service, a procession will proceed to the gravesite, starting from the Red Cross building on John F. Kennedy Drive.

Viewing for the general public will be from 1:00p.m to 5:00pm on Thursday, 23 rd October, 2025.
A period of mourning will commence at sunrise on Wednesday, 22nd October until sunset on Friday, 24 th October, 2025. During this time, the national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout The Bahamas.
The funeral service will be broadcast live via radio and television on the ZNS Network.
