Symphony Orchestra Workshop in Nashville – Congratulations Troika Hanna

Bahamian Media News:

On March 24th, 2025, students from the Bahamas will participate in a Symphony Orchestra Workshop at Schermerhorn Symphony Orchestra Center in Nashville sponsored by We Our Nashville.

This invitation was initiated by Troika Hanna, son of Paul & Tanya Hanna currently the Music Director for the We Are Nashville orchestra band and doing remarkable things in Nashville.

What a wonderful empowering opportunity for our young primary students as they will also attend song writing workshops, visit music row to learn all about the music business sponsored by Soul America Tours, plus attend a Symphony Orchestra concert.

This is the first fund raiser for the Symphony Orchestra workshop was held on Dec 22nd at Spotlight Lounge to raise funds to support the cost our students air travel and accommodations expenses.  Stay tuned for more to come as our students prepare for this awesome adventure.

The evening featured veteran musician, pianist & vocalist Terrance Rodgers, Diana Hamilton with her special Bahamian Christmas story.  Vocalist & Accordion player Sara Damas,  student pianist – Bailey Martyn, new to the concert stage Kirk Sears, and upcoming rising star with outstanding vocals Deazaria McKenzie.

The famed Platti Dred (Tyrone Butch Bartlett) with his latest hit Superman.
