Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits pulled off a landmark celebration in the wines & spirits industry last week with its Trade Show event and ‘TASTE!’ showcase. The double event came to life at the stunning Sapodilla Estate, bringing together hundreds of industry professionals and beverage enthusiasts from across The Bahamas and around the globe in an experience that surpassed all expectations for the company.

The day began with the invitation-only Trade Show, where key representatives from around The Bahamas’s for leading hotels, liquor stores, restaurants, and bars attended the first event. They explored a vibrant and immersive space featuring 33 exhibitor booths, each beautifully designed to reflect the essence of their brands. International suppliers traveled from the United States, Italy, Colombia, Chile, France, the Dominican Republic, and beyond, representing global beverage giants such as Southern Glazer’s, Pernod Ricard, Monarq, Distribution Spirits Company, World Brands, Remy-Cointreau, GioWine, Anheuser-Busch, Tito’s, Buffalo Trace, Constellation Wines and more.

“It was an incredible day connecting with so many of our valued trade partners from around The Bahamas, bringing our supplier brands and the business community together under one roof,” said Gary Sands, General Manager of Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits. “Our Trade customers appreciated interacting with our suppliers while exploring Jimmy’s Beer, Wine, and Spirits portfolios. Throughout the day attendees tasted their way through more than one hundred and fifty products—from elegant French champagnes, botanical gins, to smooth Kentucky bourbons, rare European wine varietals, and refreshing Caribbean lagers. Top-sampled products included Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Michelob Ultra, The Prisoner Wine Company’s bold blends, Uncle Nearest Whiskey, Perrier-Jouët Champagne, and The Botanist Gin. Many trade customers took advantage of exclusive one-day offers while gathering insights and inspiration for their own businesses.

Later that evening, the doors opened once more for ‘TASTE!’, a Grand Tasting Showcase that welcomed the public for an unforgettable evening of cocktails, cuisine, and celebration. Guests sipped and sampled from the same array of premium offerings, while engaging with expert brand ambassadors, enjoying bites, champagne toasts, and handcrafted cocktails at every turn. DJ-driven music, Junkanoo performances, and interactive stations like beer pong and basketball games added an extra layer of fun to the elegant outdoor venue.

“TASTE! was a true celebration—packed to capacity, beautifully executed, and full of discovery,” said Sands. “With over 170 products and 33 vibrant booths, the night showcased the very best of what Jimmy’s and our supplier family have to offer. We’re grateful to everyone who made it unforgettable, and we’re already excited for what’s next.”

The event also marked a significant moment for Jimmy’s as the new official distributor for Buffalo Trace bourbon whiskey in The Bahamas. “Buffalo Trace has long been a favourite among whiskey lovers in The Bahamas,” said Windira Brooks, Brand Manager for Jimmy’s Wines & Spirits. “We’re proud to now be the official distributor and look forward to expanding its reach and availability through our retail and trade network. The ‘Buffalo Soldier’ cocktail made with Buffalo Trace, pineapple juice, and ginger beer piqued the curiosity of the crowd and was an added bonus to the excitement of the evening. Buffalo Trace is a meaningful addition to our growing portfolio of premium spirits.”

Among the standout presentations of the night were the luxurious and interactive brand booths for Constellation Brands (featuring wines like The Prisoner, Kim Crawford, and Unshackled) and Remy-Cointreau (with Cointreau, Mount Gay Rum, and The Botanist Gin), all curated and presented by Angela Moss, whose teams received high praise for their stylish and welcoming setups.
