The Department of Immigration held a Passing Out Ceremony of ‘A’ Squad 2025 under the theme “Sworn to Protect, Ready to Serve” at the Royal Bahamas Police Force Training College on Thursday, August 28, 2025. This adds 51 new recruits to the Department. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation the Hon. I. Chester Cooper; Minister of Immigration and National Insurance the Hon. Alfred Sears; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Immigration and National Insurance, Ellison Greenslade; Under Secretary, Ministry of Immigration and National Insurance, Sharon Pratt-Rolle and the Director, Department of Immigration, Stephen LaRoda.
