Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia A. Pratt paid respects to the family of the late Dr. Norman Rupert Gay, former Cabinet Minister and Parliamentarian, during the Lie-In-State in the Foyer of the House of Assembly on Thursday, October 16, 2025.  

The Official Funeral Service for the former Parliamentarian, will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillview Seventh Day Adventist Church on Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.   Cremation will follow.
