Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper addressed Parliament on Monday on the new strategies being utilized by the ministry to promote tourism.
Cooper told Parliamentarians, “the data gathered here will not only help in remarketing efforts but also provide our local businesses with increased exposure attracting more traffic and business opportunities. Virtual reality technology and immersive experiences are also high on our agenda in revolutionizing our approach to meetings and events, improving our reach and improving the visitor experiences and we are finalizing research in virtual reality and several immersive, customizable planning experiences as well to be launched over time.”
