Today, the Deportation and Removal Units of the Bahamas Immigration Department successfully executed deportation orders, resulting in the removal of eight (8) Haitian nationals (5 males and 3 females) from New Providence to Cap-Haitien, Haiti, aboard a Vestar flight.
On September 12 and 13, an additional fourteen (14) Haitian nationals (6 males, 5 females and 3
minors) were removed.
All standard health and safety protocols were strictly observed to ensure the well-being of both
officers and deportees throughout the process.
