Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, the Hon. Mario Bowleg gave an update on the progress of the proposed Grand Bahama Aquatics Centre, located at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex, while on island on June 5, 2025. With land clearing complete and the geotechnical phase now underway, the development of the 50-meter swimming pool is one step closer to becoming a world-class aquatic centre, capable of hosting international swimming competitions.
