ZNS Relaunch

Bahamian Media News:

The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas (BCB) has renovated it’s New Providence studios and is set to introduce new  and revamped television and news shows.

BCB General Manager, Clint Watson previewed the relaunch over the weekend.  He said, “it’s been a year in the making, exciting its here.  It’s a Sunday and here is filled so it tells you there is something is going on cause normally its a ghost town on Sunday.  We’re doing final rehearsals. doing final placements and setting things in motion for the relaunch of our flagship product, The Bahamas Tonight.  We’re introducing a new newscast at 7:30 called Bahamas Tonight:  Access Now.  Eight o’clock, my show, our first news analysis show here at ZNS, nightly news analysis show, The Rundown.  Our guest tomorrow is Prime Minister Davis.  And of course, if we go back, 6:00, What’s Trending, a lifestyle show featuring Stacy Campbell-Marshall.  It’s a great feel good talk show, 6:30 The Northern Edition, the new Northern Edition from Grand Bahama, so its gonna be exciting.  And then, of course, 11:00pm we’re introducing for the first time a new fully live, fully new cast called Live At 11.”

Watson  gave a tour of the new sets and the control room for all the shows that will begin airing on Monday.

The General Manager said, “we’ve been lagging behind, ZNS has had aging equipment, challenging equipment, old sets, old studios.  We worked extremely hard the last year to modernize.  We’ve fully refurnished both of our news studios.  They look completely different.”

Tune in to ZNS TV beginning 6:00pm on September 16th for the new lineup.
