At approximately 1201 hours, Royal Bahamas Defence Force divers conducting search operations approximately 11 nautical miles north of Williams Cay located a large debris field containing aircraft parts and human remains. The debris is believed to be from the downed aircraft.

Additional RBDF personnel and resources are en route to assist with the recovery of evidence and ongoing operations at the site.

The investigation remains ongoing, and further updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.

Commander Defence Force, Commodore Floyd Moxey, and the members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force continue to extend their heartfelt condolences to the families and friends affected by this tragic incident.
