A new range of humanoid robots and AI-powered devices is being launched by Simplified Tech in a landmark moment for The Bahamas and the Caribbean – with CEO Robert Pantry saying the move is preparing the region for the future.
Simplified Tech – part of the Simplified Group of Companies – is launching the Caribbean’s first dedicated Humanoid Robotics & AI Lab and Robotics & AI Store. Simplified Tech working with Simplified Lending was also the first company in the region to launch and implement a Humanoid Loans Officer, “Evelyn Phylistina”, affectionately known as “Evie”.
At a press conference today, the company unveiled its new range of robots – including humanoid robots and quadruped machines, as well as a host of AI-powered devices, from glasses to rings that could make a difference in daily life. “For years, we have been talking about a need to diversify the economy. We are doing that with technology in a way that benefits both businesses and personal lives,” said Mr Pantry.
