Acting Minister of Youth and Sports and Minister of Transport the Hon. Leon Lundy interacts with young people taking part in the Division of Youth’s recent Apprentice Camp Trade Show, held in the Dame Ivy Dumont Building foyer, on July 29, 2026.
Also among those showing their support, and even purchasing goods from the participants, were: Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ms. Betty Kerr; Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Neil Campbell and Deputy Permanent Secretary Ricardo Deveaux; Head of the Division of Youth Sandena Neely; Assistant Director of Education Perlene Baker; and Senior Cultural Affairs Officer at the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
The apprentices showcased skills learned in various job areas, including carpentry, robotics and introductory drone piloting, photography, cooking, baking, sewing, beauty trades, agriculture and animal husbandry, and face painting.
